Everytime I open Sibelius 7.5, a dialogue box shows up talking about the program crashing. The thing is that is doesn't crash. Everything saves normally. I was using GPO4 and JABB3, but have gone back to Sibelius 7 sounds.

I've attached a screen shot.

Those are older crash logs, when Sib did crash at one tome or another.

Pls see this article--it explains these logs:

"How you can help

Sibelius will now offer to upload any crash logs it finds on your system to our servers to help us improve the software. No information that could be used to identify you other than the contents of the crash logs themselves is transmitted. You can opt out of having crash logs sent to our servers when Sibelius asks you."

Best send the crash logs anyway and we'll collate them here. If it continues to appear, it would suggest Sibelius is crashing and you can then look into resolving that separately. For GPO and JABB, make sure you are running the latest version of their libraries and the Aria Player.

This happens to me most of the time. I am continually saving when working on a score and carefully save again just before closing it. Yet still when I reopen it, I get this crash message, yet the score is OK. It is VERY disconcerting!

Pip, read the message carefully. It does not necessarily relate to previous editing of the score that you just opened. The message is just telling you that crash logs exist from some previous use of Sibelius, maybe a long time ago.

OK, I am still getting the message that Sibelius quit unexpectedly when I close a score. Yet I meticulously save and close the score properly. And I still get the message when reopening. The score itself is fine.
Sam, is this on the list to fix?

Are you closing the score from full-screen? If so, do not do that. Reduce full-screen to an adjustable window (which can be as large as you like), then close that window.

You should try updating to 7.5.1 as 7.5.1 includes some fixes in this area.

Send the crash log along to me and I'll ask a developer to look into it. You can find the .crash file here:

/Users/YourUserName/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports/
