I am working on a score that in many measures has a quarter note, dotted quarter note, eighth note, quarter note. I would like to change the dotted quarter note into a quarter tied to an eighth note.

Is there a plugin or other method to make this change easily?

Renotate Performance (in the Note Input/Flexitime tab) will do it.

Thanks. I had seen that but it wasn't obvious to me how to do it. I get it now.

It won't cover every instance when you want to change notation. But in this case, where what you have written is "wrong" and what you prefer is "correct" it will do the job!
