I have a weird problem: two notes that don't sound during playback. In the attachment it is the sixteenth-note on the last quarter of the first beat and the following quarter-note, in the lower voice on the upper staff. What is particularly strange is that they DO sound in the attachment, and if I copy the bar and place it somewhere else. They also sound if I playback the upper staff separately. I've re-written the bar, to no avail. Is there someone who understands this? Thank you.

PhotoScore Lite 7.0.2
A minor update to PhotoScore Lite is available, improving compatibility with Windows XP, and some other minor bug fixes:
I can't see your attachment Eugene as I don't have Sib 7. But might it be that you have in your complete composition a couple of dangling ties in an earlier bar which are stopping the notes in question from (re)sounding? When you then copy and paste the bars you therefore solve the problem.
Eugene, please post a .sib score file which actually demonstrates the problem: we cannot guess what the issue might be from a copy which plays correctly.
Though I can see some potential problems in that score.
1. There are slurs, presumably acting as phrase marks, over many notes. Slurs have the effect of lengthening notes, so that the MIDI NOTE OFF instruction is delayed: this can create problems with striking following notes on the same pitch, particularly in a different voice. So, if these slurs are intended to be visual only, turn them off by unchecking "Play on pass" for the slur, in the Inspector.
2. The mf dynamic is written in Voice 1 only (dark blue), and so will not apply to Voice 2 notes in either staff.

I said that this is a weird problem! I copied the fragment in which two notes are not played back, but in the copy they DO! This time I will send the whole score. The bar in question is bar 235, on page 24.

It fails for me if you begin playback at bar 234. The decrescendo line beginning in bar 234 is enabled for all voices. This is causing duration problems with voice two in the upper staff for some reason I don't understand. If you change the line to voice 1 only then the notes all play back correctly. I don't know if this is what you want but that is what is causing the problem.
Yes--if you start playback at measure 234 the problem appears--the C5 in mm 235 doesnt play back, but does if you start playback before that, or in mm 235 itself.
And the above solution also works here.
Thanks Bob

I was able to get the notes that were failing to playback by removing the two notes in voice two just prior to the failing notes. That is why I called it a duration problem.
But on further thought, I suspect it might just be the conflicting dynamic markings. Your decrescendo conflicts with several other expression marks. I don't know how Sibelius can deal with those when they conflict, but suspect it will cause some kind of playback issues as is shown here. I didn't do any extensive testing to remove the conflicts, but this may explain what is going on.
