Just wondering, but is it possible to set a default setting for the first Tempo Text in a piece, aligning it right side with the clef? In Default Positions I seem only to be able to create a setting for horizontal position relative to the note, but I would like to do this with the clef instead. This is how my publisher wants it and it would be great to include this in his house style.

I think you can only align to note. There may be a plugin but if you only want to move the first instance it would be quicker to manually adjust.

I have horizontal position set to -(minus)3 in scores/parts and this works most of the time. Of course if you have a big key signature it has to be moved.

Your publisher will probably be more demanding than that!

O yes, he is! I already created a fine-tuned house style during the last years and still are fine-tuning. This is just one of them. Horizontal -3 would be too much to the right at the beginning, but maybe it would be good on other places in the score. I use a setting of -5.5 to get the first Tempo object as good as I can get it..

But probably it's easier to just drag it. Thanks for responding!
