I am using the Erase Background border for the Fingering Text style, but sometimes the score that I work on needs the fingering to be hidden. The borders however are not hidden and leave a visible empty space on the score still, can I hide the border as well when the fingering is hidden?

Hi,
You can disable the erase background border for a single object by sending its drawing order back. Select it and choose Edit/Order/Send to Back.

This will change the drawing order also in parts.

Brilliant solution, Jouni :-)

And you can view it and change the order back to front in the part without affecting the order in the score ...
