PhotoScore Lite doesn't start under Mavericks (10.9.2).
Is there any way to fix this issue?

Yes, I also tried to reboot the iMac.
But an exception is generated, as soon as I try to lunch it.
My feeling is that this version of PhotoScore Lite doesn't run under Mavericks (?!)

Are you running PhotoScore Lite 7.0.2?

A minor update to PhotoScore Lite is available, improving compatibility with Windows XP, and some other minor bug fixes:

Hi,

yes I installed PhotoScore Lite 7.0.2.1
I already checked whether some updates are available, but this is the last one.
Annexed you can find a screenshot of the exception.
I saw that other people faced this problem.
Does Avid know about that?

This error is caused by wrong permissions in the file-system.

Please ensure that the folder on hard disk at:

/usr/local/lib/

is globally readable.

If that does not fix it, then carry out the Mac OS maintenance procedure known as "Repair permissions".

In the Terminal window, I cannot access the '/usr/local/lib' folder, as the system tells me that I have no permissions to do that.
But the folder is there, as the 'ls' command lists it.
Which permissions do I need for accessing that folder and check its Read/Write permissions?
I ran the "Repair permissions" procedure, but the error message is the same.
I'm afraid not to be skilled enough about OS X systems, for trying different approaches.
I wouldn't make damages on my iMAC.
