Hi

I have a score from a third party who has deemed to use ties instead of slurs. I have run the 'Remove Dangling Ties' plug in and there is 381 instances of this.

Is there a way I can change the dangling ties to slurs as a batch or do I have to change each of them individually?

I don't see anything around that will do that, either published in Sib or on Roman Molino Dunn's site.

As I recall, a plugin does a poor job creating a slur that is not connected to anything else.

Once you have removed them all, there are a couple of plugins that deal with LV "ties", LVFake creatse a tuplet tied to a hidden note, and Add LV Symbols to Notes adds symbols to serve as ties.

In both cases, their value becomes apparent which you have large tied chords and have to arrange the flip order of the "ties".

Nothing I know of uses slurs this way.
