Hi, I have a 14 staff score, and on the first page of each of the parts, the last measure of the first system (really just the single staff) runs off the page. You can see that it is missing when you look at the part and when you open the print dialog. I've tried unlocking the format, quit and re-opened the file etc.
You can see the page margin line, and it runs way closer to the purple than the other staves. Thanks for any advice on this.
I've attached a screen shot of the flute part showing the last beat of the measure of the first staff just disappears.
I tried forcing measures together, but then the new last measure at the edge was truncated.
Try the following sequence: select the system in the part.
Press [ctrl][shift][alt]--> (left arrow)until you can see the barline.
Don't worry about the notes at this point.
When you can see a barline, click in the white space to its right and you should be able to see the handle (little purple box) drag this to the left until it aligns with the other staves on the page.
If you can't see the handle when you click, turn on show handles in the View menu.
It might also pay to have page margins and staff rulers visible.

Much better if you post the score here, someone will probably sort it out quickly. From your picture it looks as though you have been dragging stave endings about somewhere.
You could try (in the score) selecting all (ctrl A) and then
appearance > reset design
> reset position
and repeating the same using the option to reset to score position and score design (these should work for all parts at once)
might just sort things for you.
(but make sure teh score etc is "unlocked"

Open the part, Press Cmd+D to go to Document Set-up and set the right margin to, say, 50. > OK. Now you can select the handle at the right of the staff and do Reset Position. Next set the margin back to 15. Done
It is always really difficult to asses what a problem might be without sight of the score.

The problem is in every part and also in the score. The first system is out of page margins. Open the score, activate "View - Page Margins", click on a handle on the right of the first system and drag the final barline onto the page margin line. (If you can't see the handles, activate "View - Handles".) The parts will then adjust themselves.
To add to Christoph's advice, which will work of course, you can go to View > Invisibles and tick Handles. In the full score, go to the end of the system on the first page and select the handle at the far end.
You can drag it, as Christoph suggests, or go to Appearance > Design and Position > Reset to Score Position. This will make it snap to the value you have set in Page Margins.
The problem with the page margins appears to be that in document setup the R.H. margin is set to zero and greyed out.
I've tried several approaches to get rid of teh greyed out zero but to no avail - any ideas Sam?

I think you're looking at the right staff margin, but others are talking about the right page margin.
However, when I opened the score, I didn't need to adjust any margins in order to fix this. I did what Christoph suggested: in the score, I clicked on one of the handles just to the right of any staff on the first page (turning on View>Handles helps with this) and then I typed shift-command-P to reset the position.
This fixed the margin in all the parts.
Hope that helps

It looks as if this score results from a Finale XML Export, with the known bug of systems ending up out of the margin. You might just as well clean it up:
1. Select all > R (to repeat!) > delete the original. This solves the problem.
2. Appearance > Import House Style > Standard (Times)
3. Document Set-up > Lettre and 3.5mm Staff > OK
4. Select All > Unlock format, Reset Space above and below staff, Reset Position, Reset Design, Reset Note Spacing.
After all this your score looks just fine and you can start more precise formatting.
One reason that I originally did not include Gap After in the plugin is that it is so weird. The property is stored in the first bar of a system even though the effect appears on the last bar in the system. This led me to write a Help menu that even I can't bear to read.
If you use this feature it is best to select the entire file and turn off all of them. Otherwise you are likely to be surprised by what happens.
***********
One peculiarity of GapAfter is that it is always stored in the first bar of the system, even when you drag the last bar in the system to change it. Since GapAfter has no effect unless it is a property of the first bar in a system, the plugin will only change GapAfter for a passage selection that starts with the first bar in a system. It applies the GapAfter change to the first bar, even though the effect will appear as a change in the margin of the last bar in the system. To see this, make a passage selection of the first bar in a system that has several bars. Run the plugin and change "Set gap after bars" to 10 spaces. You will see the width of the system shrink 10 spaces to the left.
