Hi, my Sibelius worked fine in the past on Windows. I the de-authorized Sibelius and upgraded my pc from Windows 7 to Windows 8.

After installing Sibelius V7.1.3 the Installation wants me to activate the software. It asks me for a system ID and Registration ID. Clicking on the "License Profile" tab provides no info:

System Information

OS information: Windows 8 Pro (6.2 )

Product Information

There is no System ID and Registration ID printed on the yellow card in my software box except for the serial number. I cannot find any email with those ID's.

Please help me to activate my Sibelius again.

From version 7.1 onwards, Sibelius no longer uses serial numbers for registration, but instead requires both a System ID and an Activation ID.

If your Sibelius 7.1.x installation is brand new, the System Id and Activation ID are provided with the installation disks.

If your Sibelius 7.1.x installation is an update from a pre-7.1 Sibelius installation that used a Serial number, then you can upgrade your serial number to the new System ID/Activation ID pair by filling in the form at:
http://www.sibelius.com/helpcenter/updates/sib7_1_3.html
even if you do not need to continue with the download.
