Playing back a work for string quartet - there is a passage where the violin is mf, and the cello is p, yet the violin is so quiet it can hardly be heard, and is drowned out by the cello.

Make sure you have updated to Sibelius 7.1.2:

Hi Daniel
Thank you for your response. I've updated to Sibelius 7.1.2 and updated Sibelius 7 Sounds. But I'm still having the same playback problem - a work for string quartet, but the first violin can hardly be heard, although most of the time its dynamic is written to be louder than the other instruments on the score. This is a recent development - I haven't had this problem before.

Can you attach the problematic score here? Just a fragment of it will do, if the problem is consistent throughout the score.

I don't know why, but I'm not having the same problem with playback today. It seems to have solved itself somehow. I hope it doesn't come back.
