I downloaded a plugin successfully, followed all the instructions on the Sib. website page http://www.sibelius.com/download/plugins/index.html?help=install , created all the new folders necessary, copied the plug-in into the folder, restarted Sib., even re-started the computer, but the new plug-in doesn't appear in the Plugins Menu (Sib. version 6.2). It's definitely there in ~/Lib/App Support/Avid/Sib 7/Plugins/Notes and Rests. Any suggestions?

~/Lib/App Support/Avid/Sib 7/Plugins/Notes and Rests.

Is it really that? Mine in Windows is

C:\Users\Bob\AppData\Roaming\Avid\Sibelius 7\Plugins\Notes and Rests

So I would imagine it would need to be Sibelius 7, not Sib 7.

Are there any other plugins in the same folder? Do they show up on the menu?

Oh, and if you are really using Sib 6, you would need the folder to be Sibelius 6, not 7.

Oh dear (red face) - if you have Sib. 6, and follow the instructions for Sib. 7, you can't expect it to work! So now, it does! Thank you for your replies, Bob.

Glad it worked. Installing is much easier in Sib 7 with the plugin installer.
