Seems like I have gone through this before, but I can't remember when or what.

I have been trying to use GPO with Sib 6.2, which can't find it or at least can not display it. I have and older version of GPO, 2.x? and Kontakt Player 2. I have no troubles using GPO with Sonar. Is it possible that Sib 6.2 does not have the functionality to use GPO?

At the moment, I am completely lost. I ordinarily use Sonar for all my audio needs, but want to work with Sib for a while, at least long enough to learn how to use it.

Not well stated. I am trying to use the full version of GPO. I can use the included sounds, but there is only one organ sound. My version of GPO contains the notation library sounds, but Sibelius does not seem to notice.

I suggest you upgrade to GPO4, which you can do relatively inexpensively from www.garritan.com, and use that with Sibelius. How to set it up with Sibelius 6 is here:

Greetings, Daniel! Thanks for the suggestion, but that would require purchase of a new computer, transfer of applications, etc, plus learning a new operating system. So I guess I am stuck with my present system, and will continue using Sonar for audio needs and Sibelius for notation only, unless I can find some organ sounds which please me and will function with Sibelius.

If you have the Kontakt Player 2 version of GPO, that will also work with Sibelius 6.
