Sib. 7.1: positioning Inspector & Keypad

How can I get the Inspector and the Keypad staying always in the same place on the screen?
The Keypad is always covering the ZOOM-tool in the right corner below and the Inspector is flipping around where ever you don't want him to be.

Is there a key-shortcut to call the Inspector?

If you hover your mouse pointer over the Inspector icon, you will be shown your current short-cut key. For me this is Ctrl.Alt.P, but I think this is because I have my own home-made imported key-presses and Shift.Ctrl.I (which I think the one you are looking for) allows me to overwrite a rhythm (It was changed for Sib7). The inspector panel stays where you put it when pinned. I don't know about the keypad because I never use it.

Thank you for answering. The Inspector shortcut is for me also Ctrl.Alt.P. Thank you for showing.

Is there a possibility to put the Inspector default pinned on every new song you open? The same would be good to have for the Keypad. In the older version of Sibelius this was possible.

Hi

I don't think you can with the Inspector, but you can set a consistent position for all the panels via Preferences>View, I think.

Hope that helps

The Pinned status of the Inspector is saved in File/Preferences/Files/Set Custom Sise and position. Note that it will open minimised until an Inspectable object is selected.
