There are five installations to perform in all: one for the application, and then four for sounds: one from each of the four DVD discs. Find the "Sibelius 7 Sounds" folder and check the size of its contents, including sub-folders. It should exceed 34.3GB. Many people forget the sounds on the first installation disc. And how big in total is your Sibelius 7 Sounds folder now? The prompts say look on the back of the CD cover (not there), on the back of the box (what does the serial number look like - in the old days it started with SC, etc. And, assuming you're an upgrade customer from Sibelius 6, that's the number you need. It's easy to miss that ALL the disks hold Sounds data - it isn't one disk for the program, three for the Sounds! 2. In Sibelius, go to File/Help/Check for updates. There are updates for both the main program and the Sounds. They aren't optional - you need them NOW! As you go through the main program update procedure, pay close attention to the screen. You'll be given new registration codes. You need them. Until you have done these two things, there is no point in asking further questions :-) Back to top | All threads

You have to go there.
