In the past few weeks Sibelius has been working more slowly. I'll get the "spinning pizza wheel" for a few seconds for things as simple as clicking the button to increase font size. Really, just that little up arrow button. So, not just working at a slower speed, but stalling for small moments very often. I'm sure there's a large variety of factors around my computer that could be causing this, and a new computer would be nice, but I've been using Sibelius on this computer for years. Any tips?

In my opinion, you'll have to wait for some optimisation to be done by the Sibelius team...

How does your computer compare to the minimum and recommended specs for Sib 7?

Bump... The spinning pizza wheel is driving me bats. New MacBook Pro (not brand new with the whizzy graphics); 2GHz Intel Core i7, 8GB 1067 MHz DDR3. I have to wait to add text, save, just about any function that requires a dialogue box. Please help...

Laurie, please ensure that you have updated to version 7.1.2, both the Sibelius application 7.1.2, and Sibelius Sounds 7.1.2. The symptoms you report were typical of the pre-7.1.2 versions.
