Listen to the Baryton 1 and 2 in Sibelius version of GPO. In the first 7 bars are the notes repeated rhythmically.
The arrangement from 1995 is imported as a midifile created in LOGIC 5.5 on XP.
I deleted the notes and created them again, and the problem disappeared. But indeed an unexpected behavior.

Hi there

Euphoniums in the score.

If you look at the third keypad layout with these notes selected, you'll see that they have two keys selected that change the playback but not the notation. If you deselect both these options, the playback will return to normal.

This usually happens when you hit 0 on the third keypad layout with a single note selected that can't make a two-note tremolo, for whatever reason. I would prefer Sibelius to change the notation somehow, even if it can't make a proper two-note tremolo, so that the user has a chance of noticing the problem.

Anyway, hope that demystifies this for you.

Oh, Thanks. I thought it was a hidden midi-problem. I'm sure, you're right. I was using 3rd keypad to re-arrange the 8-note beams, and then hit a wrong key.
