Is it possible to save Sibelius scores in PDF format and if so, how?
Ta!

Yes: on Mac, simply click the PDF button in File > Print to save a PDF.
On Windows, you need some suitable PDF creation software, which once
installed will appear as a printer choice at the top of the File > Print
dialog. I personally favour either the full-price Adobe Acrobat
product, or the free and open source PDFCreator
(http://pdfcreator.sourceforge.net), but lots of users use a variety of
products, including PDF995, PrimoPDF, PDF Factory. A quick Google
search will provide lots of options.

Thanks. I tried cutepdf but I didn't get an option to 'save' as a PDF file anywhere. Help?!

For anyone else that uses CutePDF - i should probably add:

CutePDF functions like a printer - and is an option to 'print' to. Instead of getting a physical sheet of paper, it 'prints' to a PDF file.

PrimoPDF functions the same way; very happy with that!

G Mulhall, that was the point of my "Print to file" in brackets.

I've been very happy with PDFcreator. It also functions as your printer.

I think all PDF creators install themselves as printers.

Some prospective users of CutePDF might take note of this recent Wikipedia entry:

CutePDF is a proprietary Portable Document Format converter/editor for Microsoft Windows developed by Acro Software. Caution: This program does not install properly under the 64 bit version of Windows Vista.

While we're mentioning favorites, I'll put in a vote for the shareware Pdf995 ($9.95), which does work perfectly in Vista (x64). It's very fast (much faster than Acrobat Pro on my workplace computer). If you want to concatenate several PDFs into a single file, you'll also need the companion program Pdf995Edit (another $9.95). The Pdf995 interface is a little clunky, but it works very well. One nice feature of concatenation is that Pdf995Edit remembers the file list (unless you clear it) and lets you edit it -- very handy for printing parts to PDF and checking the results, possibly several times, before going to the print shop.
