* Copy and Paste MIDI between Sibelius and Pro Tools. This works in either direction, with dedicated commands in Sibelius to 'Copy MIDI to Clipboard' and 'Paste MIDI from Clipboard'. Simply paste in Pro Tools into a MIDI or Instrument track, add MIDI CC automation, and bring it back into Sibelius. You can also paste in the song structure from Pro Tools into Sibelius as well using a System selection.
* The Keypad has received a number of nice additions, including the ability to resize (finally!) and display the custom articulations on the fourth Keypad layout (also finally!). The colours have been tweaked too (thanks to your feedback from our 23.11 release).
* We've introduced a new way to remotely control Sibelius too with "Sibelius Connect". If you know about Philip Rothman's Notation Express, then you're in luck as this is receiving a massive update to take advantage of all that Sibelius Connect offers.
* Plus the usual collection of bug fixes and improvements.

Yes, me too. Defender (Windows 10) identified the zip file as containing Trojan:Script/Wacatac.B!ml and deleted it. I had to Allow in Defender and re-download. Obviously it's a false positive, but I haven't had this problem with previous updates (using Sibelius Ultimate).
Sibelius now thinks I have a run-out subscription and asks to start Avid-Link. But there it shows correct information.(activated perpetual license)

thanks for the new features, and I am looking forward to trying out the new Sibelius update. I think the ability to paste between your Sib and DAW is an incredibly good idea. Are we also going to be able to do this with Cubase also in the future? [I'm pretty sure there are other DAWs that people would like to be able to do this in as well].

Does anybody know wy my Avid Link doesn´t even show Sibelius Ultimate now? I sinc account and still no show. I used to download all the releases from Avid Link. Now only the notification tells me there is and upgrade. Is this a new thing? I know I can download it from my Avid account but still weird it doesn´t show on the Avid Link .

It just doesn´t show up at the "install" field on the right side of the Sibelius ultimate section within the "products" section of my Avid link. Now there is NO install field and no underlined in blue "more info" . It´s just empty there.

I suggest that you download a fresh copy of the Avid Link installer from your "My Avid" account at https://my.avid.com/products and then run that installer on your Mac.
After the installation has completed, pull down the Apple menu and select "Restart". After the macOS restart, then open Avid Link, and check the status of Sibelius Ultimate.
If there is still a problem, please show us a screen-shot of Avid Link "Preferences" (available on the "..." menu). Possibly, you have "Install Apps silently" selected??

That is really inspiring to see. Thanks for that. For sure, I thought you all were simply ignoring all the unimportant things since they did not sell the product. Kudos to you.
Yup we're always trying to get a handful of "long term" bugs in each release, and that was an obvious one since we were working on the keypad more generally.

After I installed the latest version of Sibelius Ultimate I'm not longer allowed to open the program. It says that my subscription is expired - but on "My Avid" it says that my subscription is automatically renewing in February 2025. I pay for an update in February. Everything has been working fine for years, so what is happening?
I'm not sure if this is a local problem (likely) or a bug that jumped in.
For some reason, the space opened up for the Inspector will not release when I close the Inspector. See the attached which shows what I have after closing the Inspector panel.
Edit: In trying to find a remedy, I noticed that if I maximize the window, Sibelius is not resizing the workspace.
I restarted Sibelius and everything works fine. I tried to recreate the anomaly with actions I took before (snapping the window and adjusting the layout by dragging between the snapped windows), but Sibelius seems okay with it now.
[Let me know if the image is too large. I can shrink it to make it more manageable on here.]

Today I acquired the Stream deck Xl along with notation express to automate some processes when writing music in Sibelius 2024.3. Everything is perfect but for some reason that I don't know, the texts such as dynamics, technique texts and everything related to text do not work. First the system (mac) warned me that I had to give permissions in the system configuration for stream deck, but after doing so and restarting the computer the problem has not been resolved. Does anyone have an idea what's happening?

I agree. If it returns, I'll report it, but for now, I am going to assume something was happening underneath the hood of my machine.
